THE PRIMESLAB APPROACH
Design + Preparation + Technology + Accountability.
Four connected disciplines keep the customer experience simple while supporting the finished work.
01 — Design
Start with what the space can become.
02 — Preparation
Build on the right foundation.
03 — Technology
Use the right system for the environment.
04 — Accountability
Stand behind what we build.
Design: Start With the Space, Not the Bucket.
PrimeSlab looks at the property, architecture, lighting, colors, intended use, customer inspiration, and the finished appearance. Appropriate projects may include Floor Designs, visualizations, samples, or custom color concepts.
Preparation: What Happens Under the Floor Matters.
Existing-floor or coating removal · sealer, adhesive, or thinset removal · mechanical grinding · edge preparation · crack and spall repair · joint evaluation · moisture evaluation where appropriate · profiling · detailed cleaning.
Technology: Different Spaces Need Different Systems.
A living room does not live like a driveway. PrimeSlab selects the complete system around environment, traffic, water, UV exposure, chemicals, cleaning, texture, and substrate.
Accountability: The Job Does Not End When the Crew Leaves.
Return-to-use guidance · care instructions · final walkthrough · project documentation · applicable written warranty coverage.

FROM IDEA TO FINISHED SURFACE
What Working With PrimeSlab Looks Like.
The customer experience is simplified into seven major stages. The exact technical details vary by project.
01 — Show Us the Space
Start with a photo. Name · phone · email · ZIP code · type of space · a few clear photos. Approximate size, existing flooring, timeline, and colors are helpful but not required.
02 — Develop the Design Direction
PrimeSlab helps narrow style, palette, movement, contrast, texture, sheen, and included areas. Interior and exterior directions remain system-appropriate.
03 — Evaluate the Surface
Measurements where needed · existing flooring or coating · concrete condition · cracks and joints · previous repairs · moisture concerns · drainage · thresholds · traffic · access and logistics.
04 — Approve the Plan
The written proposal defines scope, areas, preparation, repairs, selected system, design direction, finish, exclusions, schedule, payment requirements, and project-specific return-to-use expectations.
05 — Prepare the Surface
Where required, incompatible flooring, coatings, sealers, adhesives, thinset, paint, or failed materials are removed. The substrate is professionally prepared for the approved system.
06 — Build the Surface
The approved installation may include primer, base layers, decorative resin, metallic pigments, marble-style movement, flake, quartz, aggregate, Sand Finish, texture, graphics, or protective finishes.
07 — Protect, Inspect & Enjoy
PrimeSlab provides project-specific return-to-use guidance, completes the final walkthrough, and reviews care, maintenance, applicable warranty information, and project documentation.

TWO-CLEAR PROTECTIVE SYSTEM
For applicable PrimeSlab residential decorative floors using the two-clear-coat system, the decorative surface is protected with two clear protective coats. This is not universal to every exterior, garage, commercial, or sealing system.
The design creates the beauty. The protective system takes the wear.
THE COMPLETE PICTURE
Before → Prepare → Build → Transform
The approved system changes by project. The professional sequence does not.

BEFORE
Existing floor, coating, pavers, or concrete.

PREPARE
Removal, grinding, repairs, cleaning, and substrate preparation.

BUILD
Approved system, decorative layers, texture, and protective finish.

TRANSFORM
Finished PrimeSlab surface in the completed space.
PROFESSIONAL SURFACE PREPARATION
The Finished Floor Gets the Attention. The Preparation Earns It.
A beautiful decorative layer over a poorly prepared surface is still a poorly built floor. PrimeSlab chooses preparation around the actual substrate and the complete system being installed.
Remove & Profile
Mechanical grinding · existing coating removal · thinset or adhesive removal · edge work · surface profiling.
Treat & Repair
Oil or contaminant treatment where needed · crack and spall repair · moisture evaluation where appropriate.
Clean & Confirm
Detailed cleaning and substrate confirmation before the approved system is built.
THIS IS WHERE PROFESSIONAL FLOORING SEPARATES ITSELF FROM PAINT
We Prepare What the System Has to Bond To.
PrimeSlab is not a painting company that also coats floors. Decorative floors, concrete coatings, resin systems, and exterior surfaces are the work.

DIFFERENT SURFACES. DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS.
Same Color Doesn’t Always Mean the Same System.
Each complete system is selected around how the surface will actually live.

SOMETIMES THE SLAB HAS A HISTORY
We Deal With What We Find Professionally.
Old flooring and coatings can hide conditions that were not visible during the first review.
Conditions We May Uncover
Additional cracks · previous repairs · moisture · multiple coating layers · adhesive or thinset.
Substrate Conditions
Weak surface areas · different slab sections · deep staining or contamination.
How PrimeSlab Responds
PrimeSlab documents the condition and explains what it means before additional corrective work proceeds.
No surprises hidden inside the final invoice.
BEFORE INSTALLATION
We’ll Tell You Exactly What Needs to Be Ready.
Before the project begins, PrimeSlab confirms what must be moved, protected, disconnected, turned off, or kept accessible.
Spaces & Property
Furniture or rugs · vehicles · storage · planters.
People & Systems
Pets and children · irrigation · appliances or specialty items.
Access & Coordination
Other contractors · alternate access · qualified trades where required.
Your proposal should identify what moves, who moves it, what stays, and what may require another qualified trade. You should know that before installation day — not while the crew is standing in the driveway.
CURE TIME IS PART OF THE INSTALLATION
Dry to the Touch Doesn’t Always Mean Ready for Life.
Resin, coating, sealer, and repair systems need the appropriate time before normal use resumes.
Return to Use
Walking · furniture · water · rugs · pool use.
Working Loads
Vehicles · cleaning · heavy equipment · chemical exposure.
Project-Specific Guidance
Timing changes with the installed system and conditions. Don’t guess. We’ll tell you when the surface is ready.

THE PROCESS STARTS WITH A PHOTO
Show Us What You Have. Tell Us What You Want It to Become.
You do not need to know which resin, primer, grinder, topcoat, or preparation method. That’s our job.
Start with the part that matters to you: what do you want the space to become? Send PrimeSlab a few photographs and basic project information. We’ll help develop the design, evaluate the surface, and determine what it takes to build it properly.
